An dieser Stelle wollte ich Euch eigentlich den Link zu den restlichen Fotos dieses Sonntagsausflugs zu Burg Isenburg in Hattingen präsentieren. Aber nachdem ich die Galerie eingestellt und alle Bildunterschriften fertig auf deutsch und englisch geschrieben hatte, hat Wix beschlossen, das Ganze einfach in der Versenkung verschwinden zu lassen. Die Arbeit von gut 30 Minuten waren den Bach runter. Es ist nicht das erste Mal, dass mir das mit diesem Provider passiert. Es wird Zeit, dass der WordPress Kurs anfängt, und ich Webseite und Blog zu einem fähigen Provider verschiebe. Die Fotos gibt's dann ein andermal.
At this point I wanted to provide you with the rest of the photos of this Sunday afternoon trip to castle Isenburg in Hattingen, about 20 min from Velbert. But as I had set up the gallery and had all photo captions written in German and English, Wix decided to f-ck it up and gone was everything before I could save anything. It's not the first time that crap like this happens with this provider. It's about time that WordPress course starts and I can move website and blog over to a proper platform. Sigh. I'll post the pics another time.
Die drei guten Dinge des Tages:
Es war ein Tag, der ganz im Zeichen meines liebsten Hobbies stand: der Fotografie. Ich bin nun endlich Abonnent der Adobe Creative Cloud. Nicht-Fotografgen und Nicht-Bildbearbeitern wird dies nicht viel sagen. Aber wer mit Fotos arbeitet, wird wissen, wovon ich rede, nämlich von den beiden meistgenutzten Fotobearbeitungs-Softwares Adobe Lightroom und Adobe Photoshop. Von Lightroom hatte ich bereits eine ältere Version auf meinem Computer, mit der Cloud-Lösung stehen mir jetzt von beiden Programmen die aktuellsten Versionen zur Verfügung, und das alles für EUR 11,89 im Monat. Die einen streamen Netflix, ich investiere in die Fotografie.
Darüber hinaus habe ich mich zu einem Fotografie-Workshop angemeldet. Bin schon sehr gespannt darauf, was ich alles lernen kann!
Die Beste Freundin von Allen und ich haben heute die -> Isenburg <- in Hattingen besucht. Bisschen spazieren, bisschen Sehenswürdigkeiten im Umkreis erkunden, bisschen mit der Kamera spielen. Schön wars! Was Ihr auf dem Foto seht, ist übrigens nicht die Isenburg, sondern Haus Custodis, welches auf dem Gelände der Burgruine steht. Aktuell ist dort ein Museum und die Wohnung des Burgwächters untergebracht. Ein sehr hübsches Landhaus, welches in der schwarz-weiß Bearbeitung schon fast ein wenig unheimlich aussieht. Aber auch nur dort. ;-)

Three Good Things of the Day
It was a very photography-heavy day. I'm finally a subscriber of the Adobe Creative Cloud. Non-photographers and non-photoeditors might not know what that is. Those who work with photography however, know what I'm talking about: the two most popular and most used photo editing softwares on the market: Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. While I had an older version of Lightroom on my computer for a while, I now have both internet (cloud-)based programs in their newest versions for EUR 11.89 per month. There are people who pay to stream Netflix, and people who pay for photo solutions ;-).
I've also booked an internet photography workshop and can't wait what new things I'll learn.
The BFF and I went to castle Isenburg in Hattingen today. To take a little walk, to view some sights in the neighborhood and to play around with our cameras a bit. A great time was had by all. What you see on the photo is not the castle, by the way. It's a country house called "Haus Custodis" which houses a museum and the apartment of the castle warden. A very lovely cottage which almost looks a bit sinister with some black & white editing ;-).
