Letzte Nacht war's mal wieder so weit mit der lästigen Uhrenumstellung. Außer ca. fünf Leuten, die das wahrscheinlich immer noch in Ordnung finden... gibt es sonst irgendjemanden, der den Quatsch für sinnvoll hält?
Aber solange unsere Regierungen immer noch denken, es handelt sich um eine gute Idee (oder einfach zu faul sind, die bestehenden Regelungen zu ändern), müssen wir wohl damit leben.
Nun ist das Uhren Umstellen an sich ja keine schwierige Aufgabe. Aber es kann schnell zu einer lästigen werden, wenn man Uhrensammler ist.
Ich bin Uhrensammler. Genauer gesagt: Swatch-Sammler. Meine Sammlung mag zwar recht klein sein - sie besteht aus lediglich 18 Uhren - aber ich liebe jede einzelne von ihnen und ich suche mir jeden Morgen die farblich passende zu meinen Klamotten aus. (Kein Witz!) Und ich bin längst nicht fertig mit Sammeln. Ist man das je?
Aber zwei Mal im Jahr kommt da die eher lästige Aufgabe des Uhrenverstellens auf mich - auf UNS Uhrensammler zu. Und da bin ich mit meiner überschaubaren Sammlung wahrscheinlich noch gut bedient...
Last night, from Saturday to Sunday, in Europe the clocks were set back one hour, which means we're back on what we call "winter time". There may be 5 people all over Europe (the world?) who are fine with that whole daylight saving crap and changing of clocks. The rest of us thinks it's the biggest bullshit ever.
Whatever the case, as long as our governments think this is a good idea (or are simply too lazy to cancel that nonsense) we have to live with it.
Setting the clocks back isn't a difficult task. However, for collectors of clocks and watches it can be a bit tedious.
I am a collector. Of Swatch watches, that is. Yes I know, it's a very small collection. It's "only" 18 watches. But I love each and every one of them, I make sure that my watch matches my outfit as good as possible every morning (so joke!) and I'm not done with collecting. There are many more to come!
But twice a year there's that task of putting them ahead or setting them back for one hour. I don't want to think about those with a seriously large collection.
