Durch den Regen | Through the Rain

Translation: Finally rain. Finally the pressure of having to leave the house is gone.
Ernsthaft? Also für mich eher ein Grund, das Haus zu verlassen, als - sagen wir mal - 35 Grad im Schatten. Aber gut. Zum Glück sind wir alle verschieden. Und nachdem ich mir heute zum Mittagessen mal wieder meine geliebten Spaghetti Aglio Olio Peperoncino (mit viel Olivenöl, noch mehr frischem Knobi und Chilischoten sowie ganz ganz viel frischem geriebenem Parmesan) gemacht habe, was der Figur (und damit dem Herzen) so gar nicht zuträglich ist, habe ich mich in meine Regensachen geschmissen und den extra langen Weg zum übernächsten Supermarkt eingeschlagen. Eine Stunde hin und zurück durch den Regen. Ist nur Wasser, Leute. Echt. Und man schwitzt nicht. Und man fühlt sich toll, wenn man zu Hause in gemütliche Kleidung schlüpft und sich mit einem dampfenden Kaffee auf die Couch setzt. Versucht's mal. ;-) (Ich sehe Euch alle gerade Eure Köpfe schütteln :-D).
Seriously? A reason to not leave the house would rather be 99 In The Shade. Thank God we're all different though. So after having my beloved spaghetti aglio olio peperoncini for lunch (with lots of olive oil, garlic, chili peppers and LOTS of parmesan cheese), which is not good for the physique (and therefore the heart), I decided to jump into my rain clothes and take the long route to the next but one grocery. One hour roundtrip through the rain. Hey, it's only water, guys! The good thing is: you don't sweat. You feel great when you come home, get into your jammies and sit down on the couch with a hot cup of coffee. Try it out. It's awesome ;-) (I can almost see you all shaking your heads :-D )
Im Folgenden poste ich zur Abwechslung, weil wir's sooo lange nicht hatten, wieder mal ein paar herbstliche Regentag-Impressionen.
Below, since we haven't had it for sooo long, I'm posting some autumn-inspired rainy-day impressions.
Und dann: Kaffee aus der wohlig schnurrenden Tasse.
