Ein Schlosspark voller Herzen

Am heutigen Feiertag stand der Besuch des Herbstmarktes auf Schloss Dyck in Jüchen auf dem Programm. Zu jeder Jahreszeit gibt es diese, entspreched thematisch ausgerichteten Märkte im Park rund um das Schloss. In der Adventszeit natürlich als Weihnachtsmarkt. Zusammen mit der Besten Freundin von Allen sowie einer weiteren Bekannten machten wir uns heute bei schönstem Herbstwetter auf den Weg. Der Markt bietet alles vom Kunsthandwerk über Dekoartikel, Kulinarisches, Wohn- und Garten-Accessoirs, Kleidung... einfach ganz viel Schönes zum Bestaunen, Kaufen, Probieren, Genießen. Ich möchte auch gar keine vielen Worte machen, denn ich habe mal wieder eine ganze Menge Fotos für Euch. Übrigens war der Markt ein reines Herzen-Paradies, deshalb gib's heute auch nicht DAS Herz des Tages, sondern derer gaaaanz viele :-).

We celebrated Reunification Day in Germany today, which is a public holiday. On the plan for The Best Friend of All, me and another friend was, to visit Castle Dyck. Or better, the Autumn Market on Castle Dyck. They host such markets for all seasons - during Advent it's of course the Christmas Market. From art to deco, from gardening to clothes, and of course lots of yummy things to eat and drink - there's somthing for everyone on the grounds in the park around the castle. I will shut up now because I have again tons of photos for you. Funny enough I saw PLENTY of hearts today. Ein weiteres Unikat aus der losen Reihe ungeplanter Fotos, heute: zwei geisterhafte Schatten. Schlossgespenster??

From the lose non-series of unplanned photos, today: two strange shadows. Castle Ghosts??

Normalerweise poste ich keine Fotos von mir selbst. Heute mache ich eine Ausnahme, denn ich möchte Euch meine neue Vierzig-Euro-Strickmütze zeigen. Ihr habt richtig gelesen. Ich bin offensichtlich mit dem Klammerbeutel gepudert, denn ich habe €40 für eine Strickmütze ausgegeben. Nun ja, Ihr kennt das. Ihr seht ein Kleidungsstück oder ein Paar Schuhe (oder eine Mütze) was (die) Euch gefällt, zieht es an (setzt sie auf) und es ist ein kleines Aha-Gefühl. Passt. Sitzt wie angegossen. Fühlt sich toll an. Gefällt. Möglicherweise legt Ihr es erst mal wieder weg, wenn Ihr den Preis seht. Doch dann kreisen die Gedanken doch ständig um dieses eine Teil. Teuer? Ja. Aber eindeutig hervorragende Qualität. Und es fühlte sich total gut und richtig an. Und dann sind da noch die Freundinnen, die nicht locker lassen mit Sprüchen wie "das wird dir ewig leid tun, wenn du die jetzt nicht kaufst." Meine bisherige Billig-Strickmütze ist mir auf Helgoland vom Wind vom Kopf gefegt worden. Konnte sie gerade noch retten. Wird mir mit dieser absolut perfekt am Kopf sitzenden nicht passieren. Trotzdem. Vierzig Mäuse für 'ne Strickmütze. Nicht schlecht. Seufz. :-)

I normally do not post photos of myself but I'll make an exception today because I want to show you my new knitted hat that I bought today and paid fourty Euro for it. That's right. €40! That's a LOT for a damn knitted hat. But you may know this: you put on a piece of clothing, a pair of shoes (or a knitted hat) and it immediately feels good. And right. And it's the perfect fit. And A+ quality. Then you see the price and you put it away. Only to think about it aaalll the time. And then there are the BFFs, who keep telling you that you'll regret it forever and a day if you don't buy that stupid hat. My old cheap-oh one was blown off of my head from the wind on Helgoland and I was glad I could catch it. With the new one, this won't happen. It's the perfect fit. But yeah... €40. For a knitted hat. Not bad. Sigh. :-)
