Konnte ich mir an dieser Stelle jetzt irgendwie nicht verkneifen 😉
Den gab's jedenfalls heute. Den Griechischen Wein, meine ich. Wir - die anderen Frauen aus unserer Aqua-Fit Gruppe und ich - waren heute zum jährlichen gemeinsamen Essen, welches uns diesmal zum - genau - Griechen führte. Es gab all die leckeren Sachen, die's beim Griechen nun mal so gibt. Für mich gab's Gyros... klingt jetzt vielleicht langweilig, denn das bekommt man auch in der griechischen Imbissbude, aber ich hab's jetzt soooo lange nicht gegessen! LECKER war's. Und ein Glas Imiglykos gehört nun irgendwie dazu.
Was sonst noch? Ach ja... der Sommer verabschiedet sich mit Pauken und Trompeten: es waren heute gefühlte 138 Grad - also genau mein Wetter! ARGH! - aber am Donnerstag kommt der Herbst mit 15 Grad. Ich bin SO WAS von bereit.
Zumindest funktioniert endlich die Klimaanlage im Büro. Dem Himmel sei Dank!
Sorry, dear English readers, I was singing a VERY famous German song in the headline and first line. The songtitle is Greek Wine.
Because that's what we had today, among other yummy goods from a really great Greek restaurant. We, that's the group of ladies from our aqua gym class and me at our annual class dinner.
I had gyro with tzatziki and fries. Basically something that you can get at every Cheap Greek fast food place. But I haven't had gyro in such a long time... I had a mad craving for it. And it was SO GOOD. That glass of red greek wine (Imiglykos) made it all the more perfect.
What else? Well... today summer decided to give his all.
It was a bazillion degrees out there today.
So... totally my kind of weather.
Not.
At least I can report, that the A/C in our office is FINALLY working. YAY. The good with the bad. But autumn is on its way and will supposedly arrive this Thursday. I'm SO ready for that!
